Fundamental : The particle filtration tester is designed for supporting ASTM F2299 for analysis of Particle filtration Efficiency for surgical masks. The compartment of the system is a composted aerosol generator, Neutralizer, air mixing chamber, sample holder, and particle counter. The testing method is the aerosol particle size (Polystyrene latex sphere) exposed to in the range between 0.1 and 5.0 µm by generator. After that the aerosol is dried and passed through to the test holder and detected by a single particle light-scattering counter.
